Magnesium The average person's body contains just under 30 grams of magnesium, but this small amount is vital to a number of bodily functions. cause occational loose bowels . - reduce dosage if this occurs. Directions for use: It is best to develop a tolerance to magnesium supplementation In the first 2/3 days sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon (1.25gm) into 200mL water 4 times a day - preferably taken with food. Increase to 1 teaspoon (2.5gm) sprinkled into 200mL water 4 times a day once tolerance has been established.
